Movies...
It’s been extremely busy the past couple of weeks, both professionally and personally. Lots of projects. You would think I would unwind with mindless television but no. Not the case. Yesterday, I watched Dogtooth and tonight, I watched Devil’s Playground. Both engaging and excellent films BUT not if you want something entertaining. It’s kinda crazy. I really want to allow myself...

Pretty exciting stuff...
It’s been extremely busy both professionally and personally. TODAY, I’ve got the day off BUT I’m waiting on the Salvation Army to show up and pick up my donations. I know, I know, I should have just put some clever ad up on Craigslist but I write all the time outside of work so I couldn’t really be bothered but as an FYI, donating to the Salvation Army is similar to...

random acts of kindness - the blog: jamienguyen... →
I couldn’t help but reblog. These are the beautiful little moments I love hearing about… random-acts-of-kindness: “I go to high school in LA, Alhambra high school to be exact. We have quad fridays where we blast music in the quad to promote school spirit. However, we have absolutely none. At my school, we are all for ourselves and everyone is selfish unless its with our friends or...

Don't go looking for something to be wrong...
Things have been going well in my life but, sometimes, when one is so accustomed to challenge and peaks and valleys, the plateaus can be a bit strange to deal with. In any case, meditation has been helping out quite a bit. Like many other people, I’m sure, its easy to be worried most of the time, feel insecure in this chaotic world, and find things to worry about. Yet, imagine all that...

That’s right, folks… WE’RE EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!! reluctantlyme: In an attempt to encourage more research into the health and well-being of gay people, a California demographer has estimated that more than 9 million Americans are gay, lesbian or bisexual - a number equivalent to the population of New Jersey.

Flurry of Activity
It’s been a flurry of activity. There’s some GREAT stuff in the works this year and I’m just hoping that much of what I’ve been working on (specifically, the art writing front) pans out well. All the hard work ought to pay off. I mean, it should. Then again, we’ll see. I’m hopeful and pushing forward with everything. Thanks again to those who have been...
