I stared at Tauba Auerbach’s painting, “Untitled (Fold)” for ten straight minutes. Try it. Next time you go to a museum or a gallery, time yourself. Are you able to look at something for longer than 1 or 2 minutes? SF MOMA has an upcoming event called Slow Art Day. This is where I got the idea. It’s fascinating what changes when you stop and look (REALLY look) at art.
