Crazy, Crazy, Crazy Times

Between work, school, and freelance projects, I’m busy. Pretty busy actually. Sometimes, I’m down right overwhelmed but I do it all anyway. But everything is for some greater good, I guess. I get to work with art historian and writer, Whitney Chadwick, which has been an amazing experience thus far. Even had the opportunity to present at a pretty amazing conference in New York. Even had the chance to write about the conference here! Overall, I’m working my ass off for a reason and it’s paying off. Surprisingly, I’m able to get a decent amount of sleep every night. I’m not sure how but I’m doing it. If you’re doing the same thing, what’s it like for you? I’m curious.

Slowly but surely unpacking and settling into my new home and finally unpacked one of my favorites - Ganesha, the Destroyer of Obstacles. I am constantly reminded to defy people’s expectations (because they don’t matter), surpass what I have done before (because I am capable), and annihilate the bad self-talk that we are all guilty of inflicting into ourselves. We don’t really need gods, deities, and spirits BUT the stories or great and remind us of so many little things we might forget from our day-to-day routines. #life #contemplative #knowyourself (at My Heart and Mind)
